Weed Can Treat Depression

Weed Can Treat Depression

According to the Anxiety and Depression Association of America, depression affects more than 15 million American adults per year. The number of studies on antidepressants causing birth defects, suicide attempts, and death are increasing over the years. There have been over 150 studies on antidepressant induced side effects. Fortunately, there are studies showing marijuana can combat depression without the harmful side effects.
“A lot of people report using cannabis effectively to treat depression,” says Zachary Walsh, assistant professor of psychology at the University of British Columbia who helps run the research lab focused on marijuana and mental health.
Cannabis was used to treat depression and many other ailments hundreds to thousands of years ago. There is evidence of medical cannabis being used in India, China, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, South Africa, and South America several centuries ago.

Antidepressants vs. Medical Marijuana

Nowadays, people are using marijuana in place of antidepressants like Prozac. The common side effects of Prozac are diarrhea, dyspepsia, nausea, nervousness, insomnia, weakness, anxiety, drowsiness, tremor, headache, xerostomia, decreased libido, anorexia, and decreased appetite. When users overdose the side effects get even worse.
On the other hand, the most common side effects from marijuana are harmless and even enjoyable. The most harmful side effect that the majority of cannabis users experience is cottonmouth. Short term memory impairment can be an issue if you’ve got tasks at hand. Additionally, it seems the memory impairment is only severe in adolescent cannabis users. A 2011 study suggests adolescent usage may even have a lasting impact on memory.

How effective is marijuana at treating depression?

The use of marijuana to treat depression is not for everyone. However, a recent study found cannabis to be effective in treating depression.
First, those suffering from depression have a decrease in endocannabinoid production. Smoking or ingesting marijuana leads to an increase in endocannabinoid production.
“Using compounds derived from cannabis — marijuana — to restore normal endocannabinoid function could potentially help stabilize moods and ease depression,” said lead researcher Dr. Samir Haj-Dahmane in a university press release.
However, there is research suggesting regular to heavy cannabis smokers are at a higher risk for developing depression. Dr. Daniel K. Hall-Flavin claims “it doesn’t appear that marijuana directly causes depression.”
“It’s likely that the genetic, environmental or other factors that trigger depression also lead to marijuana use. Some people with depression may use marijuana as a way to detach from depressive symptoms. Heavy users may appear depressed as a result of the dulling effects of the drug on feelings and emotions,” he adds.

In Conclusion

Marijuana can be effective in treating depression but the strain you use and your dosage matter. Strains that are commonly linked with euphoria and uplifting feelings are the best for those dealing with depression. Some common strains that are known for their feelings of euphoria include: Blue Dream, Sour Diesel, and Girl Scout Cookies. If you’re using marijuana to treat your depression you should consult with your doctor and they’ll start you off with low dosages.
Find out the right dose to keep your mood uplifted and just remember marijuana does not directly cause depression. It’s more likely that the same factors that lead to depression lead one to try pot.

Are pot smokers more fit than average

Are pot smokers more fit than average?

Pot Smokers weigh less

In a recent study conducted by the University of Miami, cannabis users were found to have a lower body weight than nonusers. Considering the munchies that come with cannabis consumption, these results are shocking. The stoner you picture munching away while lazily seated on the couch might actually be skinnier than you! According to the study published in the Journal of Mental Health Policy and Economics, marijuana users appear to have a lower Body Mass Indexes (BMIs). In fact, one study found medical marijuana laws were followed by decreases in the probability of obesity.

How?

One reason for the link between decreased BMI and cannabis consumption may be a decrease in alcohol consumption. In states with legalized marijuana, the rate of alcohol use typically decreases. As a result, less calories are being consumed by cannabis users. It’s hard to argue with the numbers. According to a Study by the American Journal of Epidemiology, twenty two percent of Americans who don’t use marijuana were found to be obese. Only fourteen percent of marijuana users were found to be obese. That’s 8% less than those NOT consuming a substance that increases appetite.
Other research, has pointed to the fact that marijuana users have been found to have higher metabolisms than non-weed smokers. This means that even if cannabis users are consuming more food due to their munchies, they can still be burning more calories. So in a sense, marijuana can help you lose weight.
For older stoners, smoking pot can relieve pains that would normally prevent physical activity. For example, by using cannabis to relieve the symptoms of arthritis, patients will be in a better position to engage in physical activities. As a result, they can exercise more and lose more weight than those who just deal with their debilitating conditions rather than treating it.

Study Results

The latest study on marijuana’s impact on BMI found cannabis use in both men and women was linked to a lower average BMI. Females using cannabis on a daily basis were found to have a 3.1 percent lower BMI than females not using cannabis. Similarly, men using cannabis daily had a 2.7 percent lower BMI than those who didn’t use cannabis.
A slightly older study found that smoking marijuana could help individuals lose weight. The study noted that states with medical marijuana had a 2 to 6 percent decrease in obesity.

In Conclusion

The exact reasons for why marijuana users seem to be more fit is uncertain. More research would need to be provided. More research would need to be conducted on the subject in order to determine the exact reasoning for marijuana use decreasing BMI.
“Future theory-based research is necessary to explore the pathways underlying the negative associations between marijuana use and BMI,” one researcher wrote in their report. “A broader understanding of such mechanisms along with causal elements will be most helpful to both policymakers and clinicians.”
With several studies pointing to marijuana’s potential for decreasing obesity, research on the exact ways in which marijuana does this should soon follow.

Conscious Weed Rappers

Conscious Weed Rappers

Conscious Weed Rap?

You’re more likely to talk about social and political issues when sharing a blunt than when drinking with friends. Similarly, when listening to music while high you might be looking for deeper topics.
In the 90’s, walking into a head shop, you probably heard sublime playing through the speakers. Nowadays, you might hear A$AP Rocky or Wiz Khalifa. Marijuana seems to frequently make its way to mainstream music under the hip hop genre. Furthermore, more and more stoners and listening to the “conscious hip-hop” subgenre in 2016.
One source describes conscious or socially conscious hip-hop as “a sub-genre of hip-hop that challenges the dominant cultural, political, philosophical, and economic consensus. It aims to subtly inform the public of true political and social issues which are predominantly obscured by the mainstream media.”
“Hip-hop also gives these issues a wider audience base as it is coming from music artists which are extremely popular,” they added.
Here is a list of some stoner rappers who don’t shy from topics that are frequently ignored by the mainstream media.

Run The Jewels

Run the Jewels is a hip-hop duo consisting of the New York raised, talented rapper/producer, El-P and his southern companion Killer Mike. Separately and together these two cover topics such as police brutality, drone strikes, and more. They’re also not shy about their marijuana usage with lyrics like, “good pussy, good marijuana that be my medicine.” If you’re into or interested in the conscious hip-hop subgenre give Run the Jewels’ albums a listen. You won’t be disappointed.

Joey Bada$$

Joey Bada$$ has a song about getting high before going to high school. “Ya’ll go to high school, I go to school high!” He also makes songs about the trappings of fame rather than bragging about his fame. Joey’s songs cover topics like government surveillance, inequality, and more. If you’re looking for music that’ll make you think while you smoke check out Joey’s last album B4DA$$.

 Chance The Rapper

Chance the Rapper will provide you with both catchy tunes and his personal perspective on touchy subjects. Their music is full of references to psychedelic drugs like LSD and Mushrooms. The Zombies who hail from Flatbush, Brooklyn have everything you love about mainstream hip-hop like violence, women, and drugs while also covering more conscious topics. Sometimes they rap about their love for weed and other times pointing out inequalities. If you’re into psychedelics and hip-hop you’ll probably like the Flatbush Zombies. Even if you’re only into weed and hip-hop we recommend giving them a listen.

More College Students are Choosing Marijuana over Opioids

More College Students are Choosing Marijuana over Opioids

The amount of cannabis being consumed by college students is on the rise, while the use of other drugs like amphetamines and opioids is decreasing. Studies have linked decreases in opioid abuse to the availability of marijuana.
The number of college students who admitted to using pot within the last year was at 30 percent in 2006. This number jumped up 8 percent by 2015, according to a study conducted by the University of Michigan Institute for Social Research.
University students who smoked pot daily reached 6 percent in 2014, the highest it has been in 34 years. However, this number dropped below 5 percent in 2015.
HealthDay believe the perception of risk when it comes to marijuana has dropped among college students. According to the same report, the number of young adults between ages 19 and 22 who perceive marijuana to be dangerous fell from 58 percent in 2003 to 33 percent in 2015.
“This increase in use and decrease in perceived risk of harm regarding marijuana use should be taken seriously by college administrators, parents, and students themselves,” said the co-lead researcher of the study, John Schulenberg. “We know through other research that frequent marijuana use can adversely affect academic performance and college completion,” Schulenberg said in a University news release.
On the bright side, students are using less of other drugs. Nonmedical use of prescription opioid drugs in the past year was at 9 percent in 2006. This number dropped to 3 percent in 2015. This includes commonly abused opioids like oxys, vikes, percs, and Fentanyl. Heroin use even declined from .3 percent in 2005 to .1 percent in 2015.
“It appears that college students, at least are hearing and heeding the warnings about the very considerable dangers of using narcotic drugs,” said the principal investigators of the study Lloyd Johnson, a senior research scientist and research professor at the institute.
The “Monitoring the Future” study surveys between 1,000 and 1,500 college students a year. The study also found that K2 or synthetic marijuana use went from 3.5 percent in 2011 to under 2 percent in 2015. This may be due in part to K2’s growing illegal status and marijuana’s increasing legal status.
In 1999, cigarette usage was at 31 percent. In 2015 it was at 11 percent. This is likely due to the increase in popularity of “e-cigarettes” and vaporizers.
Illicit amphetamine use nearly doubled between 2008 and 2012, when it reached 11 percent. However, fewer than one in 10 students said they used amphetamines in 2015, the study found.
“It appears that the increase in nonmedical use of prescription stimulant drugs may have passed its peak, though about one in 10 college students still report using them in the prior 12 months,” Johnston said.
As more and more college students become aware of the fact that marijuana is a less harmful alternative to opioids, the number of pot users will continue to rise as opioid abuse falls.
The only problem is the DEA keeps putting safer alternatives to opioids on the schedule I list of the Controlled Substances Act. The DEA recently decided to leave marijuana on the schedule I list. Kratom, an herbal supplement that people were using to quit opioids will be moved to the schedule I list by the end of this month.

Weed impact motivation

Weed's Impact on Motivation

You may have heard that weed makes you lazy and unmotivated. There are now new studies on weeds impact on motivation. According to the research, stoners are apparently less motivated by things like money. This does not necessarily mean stoners are unmotivated to do anything, it just means different things motivate stoners than non-stoners.
The journal Psychopharmacology did a recent study on whether or not marijuana causes apathy or amotivational syndrome. In the 70s and early 1980s, there was a fair amount of anti-pot propaganda going around. The stigma of marijuana was beginning and parents believed weed caused teenage slacker behavior.
The small-scale study by the journal Psychopharmacology compared two groups. One had 17 members, the other had 20. According to High Times, the study “compares the ability (or interest) of subjects to push the space bar on a keyboard over and over again.”
The more times subjects pressed the spacebar, the more money they received. The amount of money was small but there was no limit on the number of times they could press the bar. Scientists believe that money is considered incentive and if a task involves incentive it requires motivation. They test how many times subjects press the bar when sober and then when stoned.
The study found that even though marijuana might impact motivation while under the influence, there were no long-term effects noted.
“These results support a transient amotivational syndrome caused by acute cannabis administration but do not support a chronic amotivational syndrome associated with cannabis dependence.”
The study also found the amotivational effect from marijuana can be reduced from cannabis with higher levels of cannabidiol (CBD). This is useful information for those who need medical marijuana but also want to live a productive life.
At the end of the day, is it so bad that cannabis smokers end up bored by a repetitive task like pressing a space bar over and over for small amounts of money? I highly doubt someone stoned is going to refuse a simpler task for higher rewards. Perhaps stoners are just more conscious of how they spend their time. Stopping to think about whether the effort and boredom are worth the reward.
Hopefully, pot motivates you to do something that interests you more instead. Unfortunately, some people choose to get stoned and spend their time sitting around but maybe they’d do that even without the pot. More than a small-scale study would need to be accomplished to determine whether or not marijuana creates slacker behavior.
This experiment does not prove marijuana causes an overall lack of motivation. It just illustrates the effects marijuana can have on those under it’s influence. Some people might view the way marijuana causes a lack of interest in superficial things as beneficial. It really all depends on what you’re looking to get from your marijuana experience.
Perhaps if stoners are given a more interesting or creative task to accomplish they’d be more motivated. A different study would have to be conducted to find out if marijuana causes amotivational syndrome or just a lack of interest in passionless tasks.

Trim Run Vs Nug Run Dabs

Trim Run vs Nug Run Dabs

You may or may not have heard the terms trim run and nug run. If you live in a state with legalized marijuana you may have seen these terms printed on the label of extracts at your local dispensary. The nug run labels should have a higher price than the trim run labels. We’ll go over the differences between the two and how to make sure you’re not paying nug run price for trim run. In some places trim run is less than half the price of nug run so if you’re getting trim you should make sure that you’re paying trim prices.
Nug Run Extracts
Users report better flavor from extracts made with full marijuana nugs. The better flavor combined with the higher cost of using full nugs over trim explains the higher prices. If you’re a regular user of concentrates you’ll be able to tell the difference between trim run and nug run. If you’ve been paying more for nug run you’ll be happy to know it was not just for the hype.
Trim Run Extracts
Trim run extracts are less expensive because some marijuana manufacturers are recycling what would normally be waste. If you were hoping trim run was just as good as nug run without the hype, we may disappoint you. However, when it comes to potency there is not enough evidence to say whether trim run will get you any less high than nug run would.
How To Tell The Difference
Smell it.
You should bring your concentrate really close to your nose and take a big whiff of it. If you don’t smell much of anything you’re probably dealing with extracts that were made from trim. However, if your nose gets smacked by a cloud full of dankness, you’ll know for sure that your oils originated from a nug.
Taste it.
By doing a dab of your concentrate you should be able to guess whether it was made with trim or nugs. Several users report a chlorophyll taste from trim run extracts. Nug run is usually flavorful and smoother on the throat and lungs. This is because nugs are the most trichome and terpene-rich part of the cannabis plant. One user said that trim run gave them a peppery feeling in their mouth and throat. If you can get past this taste, it may be in your best interests to save money and purchase trim run extracts.
In Conclusion
If you’re paying top dollar for nug run extracts, make sure you’re not tasting chlorophyll. Also see if you can smell before you buy, follow your nose. You don’t want to pay sixty dollars for a gram of mislabelled trim. Oil snobs beware of any concentrates that do not smell because they’re likely made with trim. The regulations in some states allow companies to get away with mislabelling so your nug run might just be some false advertising. We hope the information in this guide was enough to help you find the right concentrates for you.

Action Bronson and Friends

Getting High with Action Bronson and Friends

Queens-based rapper Action Bronson has his own show on Viceland where he watches Ancient Aliens with friends while extremely stoned. With the number of Americans using marijuana at an all time high, it’s about time stoners got some 420 friendly entertainment. Catch Action Bronson and his celebrity guests exchange theories on Ancient Aliens and the origins of our species every Thursday at 11PM EST.
We’ll go over why this is the perfect show to watch while stoned. Even if you don’t know who Action Bronson is you’ll probably still get a kick out of watching a room full of super high celebs talking about Ancient Aliens. Get stoned before or while tuning in. This show will really get you thinking.
Most Guests on the Show are High!
The main group of Ancient Alien watchers is Action Bronson, Big Body Bes, The Alchemist, and Knxwledge. These guests are usually seen smoking throughout the entire episode. Most of the celebrity guests get high with the gang with the exception of Tyler, the Creator who is naturally high all of the time and doesn’t need weed.
Action Bronson watches Ancient Aliens with fellow rappers Earl Sweatshirt and Riff Raff, who both get baked. He also smokes with singer, Melissa Etheridge and makes a song with her while they’re stoned. Bronson also entertains guest actors Simon Rex and the permanently tanned Peter Dante. If you watch the 7th episode of season 1 you’ll find out what we’ve all been wondering: if Peter Dante was born tan.
The gang theorizes about the connections found between the structures of several ancient civilizations. You’re given the Ancient Aliens side which is usually what Ancient Aliens Astronaut Theorists believe. Then you’ll get some skepticism from Big Body Bes or The Alchemist. Action tries to keep everyone’s minds open to all possibilities and if you’re lucky you get two words of wisdom an episode from Knxwledge.
Munchies…
Every episode features some gourmet catering from different eateries in Los Angeles. After taking several dabs Action Bronson summons the food. One episode, all guests were fed Roscoes Chicken and Waffles. Another time they had several varieties of Vegan Ramen.
Dab Rigs
Action Bronson can be seen hitting a new dab rig almost every episode. During the Dinosaurs episode he had a table full of dino-themed bongs made by Elbo Glass. He’s also been seen hitting pieces made by legends like Joe P and even a Mothership Elite. Bronson’s got multiple pieces in his collection that value over $10,000 USD.
Action is usually peer pressuring one of his friends or guests to hit his dab rig. By the end of the season most guests appear to have a phobia of dabbing. You’ll be surprised to see which guest was clearly a seasoned dabber. Simon Rex ended up being scarred from his first dab with Action Bronson.
Informative
You’ll learn some facts among the theories thrown around on Ancient Aliens. On one episode we learn that Native American tribes are legally allowed to cultivate and sell marijuana.
In Conclusion
If you’ve got some free time and some weed you probably won’t regret sitting down stoned and watching Action Bronson Watches Ancient Aliens.

Marijuana abuse has decreased even though marijuana use increased

Marijuana abuse has decreased even though marijuana use increased

Marijuana abuse has decreased even though marijuana use increased
With marijuana becoming legalized in more states across the US, more people are beginning to use marijuana. Many would assume that this would lead to an increase in marijuana abuse. Opponents of legalization have even used this as an argument against legalization. However, the Center for Disease Control and Prevention has recently released results that reveal marijuana abuse and dependency is at an all-time low over the past decade and a half. The report was released on Thursday by both the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration and the Center for Disease Control and Prevention.
The report showed 1.6% percent of Americans aged 12 and over were considered to be abusing marijuana or suffering from marijuana dependency in 2014. In 2002 1.8% of Americans aged 12 and over were found to be abusing marijuana or dependent on it.
Another argument made by opponents of marijuana legalization is that teen usage would increase. However the results from the CDC’s reports would beg to differ. The largest decrease in marijuana abuse and dependency was seen in teenagers. 37% less teenagers were abusing marijuana in 2014 than they were in 2002. Young adults also saw an 18% decrease in abuse over the same period. The number of adults aged 26 and older did not see a big change in the number of adults abusing marijuana since 2002. This may be due to a former lack of information and education on marijuana. Marijuana is being introduced to people as medicine and legalization allows for education and regulation, which may lead to a decrease in marijuana abuse.
It’s safe to say the results represent a national sample. The National Survey on Drug Use and Health, a massive annual federal survey of American substance use, received 900,000 responses. Respondents were considered dependent if they claimed to have “health and emotional problems associated with [marijuana] use, unsuccessful attempts to reduce use, tolerance, withdrawal, reducing other activities to use [marijuana], spending a lot of time engaging in activities related to [marijuana] use, or using [marijuana] in greater quantities or for a longer time than intended,” said the CDC.
Respondents were considered to be abusers of marijuana if they reported “problems at work, home, and school; problems with family or friends; physical danger; and trouble with the law because of [marijuana] use.” This could mean a respondent who only smokes once a week and got into trouble with the law could be considered an abuser as well. Despite this, the number of abusers is still going down.
The study found that abuse and dependency when it came to marijuana was rare. Only about 12 percent of people who used marijuana in the past year fit into either of those categories. This number was 16.7 percent in 2002 which is a 30 percent decrease in the 12 year marijuana’s accessibility has increased.
According to the data, marijuana accessibility is helping more than it is hurting the country. Informing people about a drug while regulating it seems to decrease abuse more than full on prohibition. With more evidence on the benefits of legalization we hope to see most if not all of the nine states voting on marijuana legalization this November to go legal and reap the benefits.

Marijuana use set to pass tobacco use in the United States

Marijuana use set to pass tobacco use in the United States

Marijuana use among American adults has more than doubled since 2002. In the last three years alone marijuana use has nearly doubled: from 7 percent of Americans in 2013 to 13 percent today. Marijuana use isn’t ahead of tobacco use yet but it’s definitely catching up. The number of regular marijuana users in the United States is at 33 million, with 40 million regularly using tobacco.
While marijuana use may be on the rise, tobacco use has been decreasing over the last few decades. According to the CDC, the current trends of cigarette smoking among high school students AND adults in the united states are at an all time low. Since 1965 cigarette smoking in adults has gone from 43% to 18% in 2014. Student smoking is at an all time low as well with only 16% of students smoking cigarettes in 2014.
More states have been legalizing marijuana. Half of the states in the country currently allow medical marijuana in some form. Four states currently have recreational marijuana laws and nine are voting to legalize marijuana this November. This green rush is what’ll likely lead marijuana use to surpass tobacco use in the United States.
“States’ willingness to legalize marijuana could be a reason for the uptick in the percentage of Americans who say they smoke marijuana, regardless of whether it is legal in their particular state,” Justin McCarthy wrote the poll for the poll service. “Gallup finds residents in the West – home of all four states that have legalized recreational marijuana use – are significantly more likely to say they smoke marijuana than those in other parts of the country.”
Even though pots becoming more acceptable in the West of the United States, many Eastern states are more conservative in their approach to marijuana. The Christian Science Monitor noted in May:
“Political leaders in liberal Massachusetts, the state that introduced an Obamacare-like system, balk at legalizing marijuana. And Vermont, home of socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders, criticized Massachusetts’s marijuana initiative as too lax and killed its own fledgling pot bill.
‘We in the Commonwealth would be better watching and learning from the case study of Colorado for five or six years, rather than just two,’ [Republican Massachusetts state Sen. Viriato deMacedo, one of nine senators who went on a four-day fact-finding mission to Colorado] tells The Christian Science Monitor in an interview.”
Although Massachusetts’ government seems to oppose the legalization of marijuana the states residents will be voting on recreational use via referendum in November, alongside California, Arizona, Nevada, and Maine.
The number of Americans who have tried marijuana is also on the rise according to the results of a poll. The poll asked Americans if they “ever happened to try marijuana?” The poll focused on the youth starting at the 1960s and the rate has increased by 11 percent in 1972 and 43 percent today.
The rising popularity of vaporizers and e-cigarettes has also decreased the number of cigarette smokers but this might change after the new FDA enforced rules. Vape shops will no longer be allowed to compare vapor products to cigarettes, so they can’t tell you it’s healthier. They cannot help customers troubleshoot their vaporizers so elderly customers who aren’t as tech savvy might not be able to figure out how to use the vaporizer. This will lead more people to turn back to cigarettes but experts still believe marijuana will surpass tobacco use over the next several years.

Vacation in states with legal marijuana

Marijuana has been recreationally legalized in four states making it easy for tourists to try out the state’s finest. Tourists with an enthusiasm for weed will now have four states to choose from with several weed-related tourist attractions. From weed-friendly hotels to white water rafting with complimentary weed, there are now many ways to make the best of your 420 vacation.
Here we’ll go over some of the marijuana-related activities that you can only get away with in one of the four states with recreational marijuana.
Oregon
In Oregon smoking marijuana is legal, but only on private property when permitted. This can be troublesome as a tourist as you may not ever be on private property where you’re allowed to smoke. Not to worry, Weed Country Adventures has got you covered. WCA is a whitewater rafting company that also smokes you up. They get away with this by making stops on private properties to get you legally high. If you’re a fan of both marijuana and whitewater rafting the WCA was literally made for people like you.
Colorado
Marijuana friendly lodging is easy to come across in Colorado, recreational marijuana is even easier to come across. There are marijuana tour buses with dab rig and e-nail stations on board. Loopr is one of the most popular marijuana party buses in the state:
“Hang out, relax and enjoy the biggest, baddest party bus in Colorado with comfortable seating for 46, a glassware and dab bar, granite countertops on the 4 booths, more than a dozen video monitors for multimedia entertainment and route information, free WiFi, a lavatory and refrigerator, laser light show and more!!”
While in Colorado you can take marijuana cooking classes or get a marijuana-infused massage. Colorado is definitely one of the spots with the most options when it comes to weed and weed-related activities for tourists.
Washington
One dope marijuana-related activity you can try in Washington is the Cannabus. The Cannabus is a weed party bus that takes you to grows and dispensaries in Washington. You can also get baked on board! Washington’s main attractions to pot loving tourists would be their recreational shops. Smoking in public is forbidden and there are less shops and weed related events going on in Washington than in Colorado or Oregon. If pot is a main theme in your vacation Washington may be a little too conservative for your tastes. Marijuana is treated like alcohol so you can’t be seen smoking in public or you’ll face consequences. Fortunately, those consequences are only a $27 dollar fine so at least you can smoke without fear of jail time.
Alaska
The scenery in Alaska is quite a sight for red eyes. Who doesn’t want to see the Northern Lights while high on Northern Lights? Alaskan Thunder Fuck would be another good strain to try on your trip to Alaska. You might even get some for free. The laws in Alaska allow adults to legally gift each other marijuana. So the best way to get some weed while in Alaska is to ask somebody “Hey, can I have some of your weed?” Business’ like bud and breakfasts will straight up give you free weed as an incentive to stay with them over competitors.
